Looking for Group — Find Players Who Actually Talk

Most LFG tools hand you a stranger and wish you luck. Tactical Game Hub is the other approach: one free Discord where the same adults show up every week, comms are expected, and you build a roster instead of rolling the dice on randoms.

Mic-on is the whole point

Every squad channel here is comms-first. If callouts don't happen, the session isn't working — so we built the community around that instead of hoping for it.

The same people, every week

LFG sites optimise for one match. We optimise for the fifth session with someone whose name you remember. That's the difference between a group and a queue.

Squads forming most nights

Heaviest 7pm–2am EST, with PST coverage running later and weekend ops most Saturdays.

Why most looking-for-group tools disappoint

Matchmaking LFG apps pair you with a stranger for one session. There's no reason for either of you to behave well, so most people don't — silent lobbies, mid-match quits, no follow-up.

Subreddits and LFG boards are posting walls. You write a post, it gets buried in twenty minutes, and the replies you do get are from accounts you can't judge.

Giant game Discords have the opposite problem: 80,000 members, a firehose #general, and no realistic way to find the three people who want to play the same thing you do in the next ten minutes.

The common failure is that none of them create repeat contact. Without repeat contact you never get a group — you get a series of one-offs.

What TGH does differently

We're a single community rather than a matching service. You join once, pick the games you play, and drop into a voice channel when you want to run something. Because everyone's in the same server across every game, the person you cleared a Ready or Not level with on Tuesday is the same person you'll see in the Warzone channel on Friday. Groups form out of repetition, not algorithms.

Who this is actually for

Adults — most members are 25–45 — with jobs, families, and a couple of hours a few nights a week. People who want a real session, not a lecture about their K/D. If you want a hyper-competitive grind roster, there are better places. If you want a group you can text 'anyone on?' and get three replies, this is it.

How to get started

Join the Discord (free, no application), say hi, and pick up game roles so you get pinged when your games are running. If you'd rather see who's around before committing, the member directory shows who plays what and who's open to a ping. Either way it takes about two minutes and costs nothing.

Common questions

Is it free?

Yes. The Discord, the squads, the events and the member directory are all free. Optional paid memberships exist for clan ops and prizes — they're never required to find a group.

Do I have to apply or try out?

No. There's no application, no tryout, and no rank requirement. Join, pick your games, and drop into voice.

Do I need a mic?

For most squad channels, yes — comms are the point. You're welcome to lurk in voice without talking on your first night; plenty of people do.

What games can I find a group for?

Tactical shooters, milsim, extraction shooters, battle royales, co-op PvE and competitive titles — around twenty games with regular activity. The full list is on this page.

What if nobody's playing my game right now?

Post in the game's channel or set yourself as open to a ping in the directory. Most games here fill within a night or two; the busiest ones fill within the hour on weeknights.

Is it only for North America?

No, but that's where most members are. Coverage is heaviest 7pm–2am EST with a solid PST group running later. EU members exist but the EU evening slot is thinner.
