The Tactical Training Discord — Drill It, Don't Just Watch It

Most 'tactical' Discords are just a chat about gear and a YouTube link dump. TGH is built around actually running the drills — CQB stacks, buddy-team bounding, element ops — inside Ready or Not, Ground Branch, Arma Reforger, and Squad. Mic on, every night.

Mic-required, every drill

There's no such thing as a silent CQB night. Every voice channel enforces it.

Drill night every week

Scheduled CQB nights, milsim nights, and buddy-team warm-ups. Drop in whenever the calendar fits.

Adults, vets, instructors mixed in

Members include former 11Bs, range instructors, and serious civilians. Coaching happens organically, not as a paid product.

What a TGH drill night looks like

8pm EST: 30-minute warm-up. Buddy-team bounding on a small Arma map, OR a stack-discipline reps block in Ready or Not. 8:30pm: main op (objective, contested). 10pm: 60-second debriefs per element — what went right, what we missed. Then optional casual play. Show up to whichever block fits your time.

Who actually runs the drills

Element leaders rotate. Some have real-world experience, some don't — what matters is they've shown up consistently and proven they can run a clean callout cadence. We're not selling certifications; we're sharing reps.

What we don't do

We don't run paid 'tactical academies' on Discord. We don't pretend a sim is range time. We don't tolerate 'you should have used a different gun' lectures during a clear. We don't tolerate ricochet talk during debriefs.

Why this exists

Real CQB courses are $400–$1500 a weekend, plus travel, plus ammo. Most working adults can do that twice a year, max. The cognitive layer — decisions, calls, geometry — needs hundreds of reps, not two weekends. Sims with a mic'd squad are the only place to get those reps cheaply. TGH is structured around that gap.

Common questions

Do I need any tactical background?

No. Half our active CQB squad has never fired a duty weapon. Bring a mic, willingness to be corrected, and patience.

Which game do I need to own?

Pick one: Ready or Not (CQB focus), Ground Branch (mid-distance), Arma Reforger (squad ops). Most regulars have one or two.

Is it free?

Yes. Discord, voice channels, drill nights, debriefs — all free. Optional paid memberships unlock ranked clan play and prizes; never required to drill.
