Valorant: Agent Synergy That Wins Rounds

Solo queue agents are fine, but coordinated agent combos? That's how you dominate. Here are the best pairings this act.

Valorant is a team game disguised as a shooter. Your aim matters, but your agent synergy matters more. Here's how TGH coaches build team compositions that consistently win rounds.

Classic Combo: Omen + Sova

Smoke a chokepoint, then dart through it. Enemies either push through blind and get tagged, or they wait and give you map control for free. It sounds basic, but the timing is everything — smoke first, dart half a second later.

Aggressive Entry: Gekko + Raze

Gekko's Wingman + Raze's Boombot creates a two-pronged info push. Send both utility down a corridor and the defenders have to choose which to shoot. While they're distracted, your entry fragger swings. Free kills.

Defense Lockdown: Killjoy + Cypher

Killjoy turret + Cypher tripwire on the same site creates layered intel. The trip catches the first player, the turret tags the second. Your team rotates with full info on enemy count and position before the fight even starts.

Comp Building Principle

Pick agents that amplify each other, not agents that do the same thing. Two controllers is redundant. A controller + initiator + duelist + sentinel covers all phases of a round. Build your comp around the site you want to play, then execute together.
