ARC Raiders: Co-op Survival Guide for New Squads

ARC Raiders rewards coordination over firepower. Here's how to gear up, move smart, and take down mechs as a team.

ARC Raiders is the co-op PvPvE shooter that punishes lone wolves harder than anything else on the market. If you're dropping in solo-minded, you're getting stomped by mechs and other squads. Here's the TGH squad survival framework.

Assign Gear Roles Before You Drop

One player should prioritize EMP and anti-mech tools — your dedicated mech killer. One player runs recon (scanner, flares). One carries medical supplies. The fourth is your flex — extra ammo, explosives, whatever the mission needs.

Movement Philosophy

ARC Raiders maps are massive and open. Never cross a field without someone on overwatch. Bound in pairs, use terrain for cover, and always have an extraction route planned. The mechs patrol on patterns — learn them and you'll never get ambushed.

Mech Encounters

The big walkers are terrifying but predictable. Flank to hit weak points on the legs and back. One player draws aggro from the front while the others circle. EMP grenades stun them for 3-4 seconds — that's your DPS window. Coordinate your burst damage.

PvP at Loot Hotspots

If you hear another squad fighting a mech, let them finish — then push while they're healing. Vulture plays are dirty but effective. If you're the ones fighting the mech, post one player on rear security. The squad that plans for the third party wins.
